The winner of this series will play Tampa . I dont see the hurricanes beating them. Do the Bruins or the Islanders have any chance at all against them

Trotz made adjustments. Cassidy hoped top line and goalie won it for him.

Who scored the first goal of the game?

Don't most teams "hope" their top line and goalie will win it for them? Isn't that what they are paid to do?

A bad pass in OT cost them the game. Could have gone either way.

What a fantastic hockey game. Each team dominating at different parts of the game. Great goaltending. Huge hits. The refs stayed out of it. I think you could have called a kneeing penalty on the isles in the corner,(in the second I think?) and that cross check to the back of the head on the Bruins. To me they even out as did a lot of the "let them play" calls.

If I'm a Bruin fan this morning I'm a little disappointed with your 7th man\fan this morning. You haven't had a full barn in how long? And the second period when your team needed you the most you could hear ushers shuffling their feet in there.

Lets Go Bruins should basically not have stopped for 60 minutes.
You'll see how it's done on Thursday.

If Rask is dialed in, the Bruins can run with anybody.

NY got a huge momentum boost when Pasta ran over the goalie.
It happens, but it was a stupid play.
NY got the bounces last night, again, it happens.
Stop blaming Lauzon, the kid will learn.

Wasn’t just the 2nd period.
Isles took complete control of possession and chances before mid 1st and goals and bounces were a matter of time.
Bruins woke up mid third. Just can’t do that.

Agreed on Lauzon.
Both teams had been making that play all night. Cross the line, button hook back to D across quick for the shot on net with people moving. Could have happened to anyone on either team.

Islanders had a couple seeing eye goals to give them the lead in the 2nd. Bruins should not have been down 3-1. Couple unlucky bounces last night. Should be interesting to see how they play on the road at a packed house.

The B's took the whole 2nd period off. Not much to get behind there. The Isles play a pretty boring albeit effective brand of Hockey. Pretty easy to lull the crowd to sleep.

Rask looks dialed in so far this playoffs. Most of the goals that have beaten him have been poopty bounces or deflections.
